Attractive Finish
The Vapor Honing process uses a combination of pressurized water and smooth media. The water cushions the impact of the media and also lubricates the action of the media against the surface of the part. This is what gives Vapor Honed components their bright, smooth finish.
Gentle Process
Unlike bead blasting, which propels potentially destructive media at high speed towards the surface of the part, Vapor Honing is very gentle and is safe to use on threads, engravings and surfaces on which tolerances must be maintained. Vapor Honing is a cold process that, unlike bead blasting, does not generate any heat via friction which can easily cause distortion of the part. Vapor Honing is safe to use on small and thin parts without any worry of damaging them.
Durability & Longevity
Vapor Honed components retain their appearance due to the peening and sealing nature of the finish. Particularly with aluminum, the pores of the metal are peened closed which prevents future staining and corrosion. This ensures that your components will look attractive and stay clean for many years to come.
Cleaning
Our process cleans and degreasing the part as it finishes it. Oil, grease, dirt and other residue is thoroughly removed from the surface of the part and from below the visible surface of the part from which it may appear later (particularly when heated).

The story BEHIND

My 06 VTX 1300 I wish i had pictures of the way it was before. I bought it cheap because of it poor condition it was rode hard put away wet it was rusty and crusty. I bought a used seat pipes added a few odds and end foot pegs lights and wind shield at swap meets repainted the frame and tins did a top end overhaul 10 over pistons and valve seals.
looks good for a 1500 dollar investment.
with a little time and the vapor honing cleaning process you to can turn a ratty looking bike it to a daily driver

I am on the fence with what i want to do on this one. I have collector plate i run it once in a while, one carb has a slight flooding issue.
I put it on the lift popped off a couple of the carb bowels they are brown and tarnished. I ordered needle and seats and i came a cross a Brand new set of Factory Honda Pipes NOT Re Pops

The story's all seem to have one or two thing in common, I have this motorized toy, it doesn't have to be motorized at all either I cleaned copper brass cast iron too jewelry and house hold as well, but my main focus is Aluminum.
For Example: (True Story) the pictures of it are in the gallery pics the story goes i have this onan generator on my Class A Motor Home I left it sit for 7 years never ran it or drained the gas I cant clean it and a new one is over 400 dollars
There is nothing more satisfying than turn old oxidized aluminum in to new looking parts .
